Before you leave home, please remember to:

Leave all valuables (including jewelry and money) at home. The hospital is not responsible for them.
- Remove nail polish and makeup especially mascara.
- Wear casual clothing that can be easily removed and shoes with low heels.
- If you wish, bring a book or handi-work.
Please arrive promptly and report directly to 3-9 in the Patient Care Tower. You should enter from the second level of the Collins parking garage, take the elevator to the right of the Information desk to the 3rd floor. Click here for detailed directions.
When you arrive, you will be shown to a room and given a comfortable gown, robe and slippers. Our staff will care for you before and after your surgery, unless you are going to be admitted.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask our nursing staff.
Following your surgery, you will be joined by your family member, as soon as possible.
